Why We Built This Site

Missouri court access can be hard to sort out when a single DeKalb matter may involve the Circuit, Associate, Probate, Small Claims, or Municipal Division. The DeKalb County Circuit Clerk is the local judicial-record contact, and the DeKalb County Circuit Court is part of Missouri’s 43rd Judicial Circuit. A docket is the running record of filings, settings, and court actions. The court enters those actions, the clerk keeps the official record, and Missouri Case.net supplies the first public statewide search route for eligible cases.

That division of responsibility matters. A Case.net result may identify a public case, but it is not necessarily the complete document file or a certified copy. A clerk question, a copy request, and a hearing question also do not belong with the County Clerk, which is a separate county administrative office.
